I’m in total lust with David Cook on American Idol! Come to mama! His voice is delicious, HE is delicious, his Billie Jean arrangement was sheer genius; he truly made it his. I’ve been alternating it with his version of Eleanor Rigby since this morning. (Full versions on itunes!) I hope he wins! ‘

– Bitchiness

It’s a gorgeous sunny day today! I decided to go to window shop in the mall at lunch. You know the turning lane on Champlain st. to turn either toward Swiss Chalet/Rogers Video/Mikes etc OR continue a little bit to turn at the mall? Well you know how sometimes you get in the turning lane a bit too fast and you’re stuck forever behind someone turning at Swiss Chalet/Mikes etc (no light there) ? Well whenever I see cars lined up to turn at Swiss Chalet, I continue in the middle lane and only get in the turning lane after Swiss Chalet, right before the Champlain Place mall lights… So I did this at lunch, there were 3 cars taking forever to turn at SC… But by the time I was getting back in the turning lane, the first car had turned left, so there was another car behind it that had to slow down to let me grab my spot in the turning lane.. Well I looked in my rearview mirror and I saw the driver calling me “BITCH!” and flipping me the bird!! What!! The light was red. I was staring at them in my rearview mirror. Then the driver’s girlfriend also yells “BITCH” and proceeds to also give me the finger!! Well, I just kept glaring at them in my mirror, smile, and effing flippped them both the finger. A double bird, at the same time. How mature of me to get caught up in their nastiness eh? hehe This is only the second time EVER that I flip the finger to a stranger that way. So anyway, I see her get all worked up and saying “Did you see that bitch??” The light finally turns green, and I turn toward the mall, and they’re freaking following me!! I drove around the mall THREE times and they kept following me! I didn’t want to park and get out, you never know what kind of crazy people they were…. They finally gave up and I parked and if anything, they gave me a good cardio workout. (My heart was beating fast hehe)

— Smartness Loserness

So we went to our Smartest Loser interview this morning…

I was really impressed by them (There was a guy, I think he might be the owner of Max Health, his name is Leon Desroche, and there was a woman named Monique and she’s the sysadmin on the smartest loser forum.) They are sooo nice and they genuinely seem to care about the people in this program. You can see that they’re excited about it, excited to help the people. I also learned that the 3 mandatory group workouts will most likely be mon-wed-fri, so we would have our summer (what’s summer again? Hehe) weekends free, we’d still have to workout but at least I could still go walking in the parks and trails and go to the beach, that’s one thing I was worried about (missing the summer, since I’ve really had it with winter).

I forgot to ask them what is the special rate for the contestants for the Nubody gym.. .. I think I’ll send her a private message on the forum to ask her.. But I’m excited about the program again and I hope we’re picked! But they said that we were the only couple that applied and that they were excited that there was a couple, so that’s good hehe. They said that they had hundreds of people apply, but that they had to rule some out right away because their schedule was too tight, and that you could see they weren’t ready to commit to change their lives.

I just got off the phone with mom, and she’s really excited again to help us find the money to be able to do this! They’re going to announce the participants on April 4th. If we’re chosen and that we find businesses to sponsor us, they’re going to put the businesses’ web links on our profile on the contest page, as long as it’s a healthy business (it can’t be like a burger king link) Fingers crossed!!
